Hello,

Can anyone share their experience with Elusiva Universal Printer?  http://www.elusiva.com/products/UniversalPrinter.aspx

We have been testing it in our lab with both 32 and 64-bit servers. So far - so good.
I am looking for independent feedback before deploying in production.
Anyone encountered any problems with any platforms.

Thank you in advance,

Greg Greene

It works great and it's only $69.

Can't wait for terminal server enterprise.

Sorry for the delay in posting but I just found yur post and I am hoping it is not too late!

I have one word for EUP:  Unreliable.

When it works, it is great.
They have a crazy licensing scheme that is very fragile and when it becomes unlicensed, they cannot fix it. It is impossible to just reregister it. Once, in frustration, I just purchased the product again because I could net reach support and all my users were down.

Many times the printers disappear and there is no apparent reason.
Sometimes the server piece became unregistered or corrupted and their support argued that we "uninstalled" it.
About 4 months ago they pushed out a buggy "upgrade". It broke ALL of my clients, who were Doctor's offices. After they figured out what happened, I was forced to reload the client piece on many PCs in several states.

This week it appears to have happened again. Only I have not been able to reach anyone except voice mail. I have called over 20 times and sent Emails to every address I can find.

I will probably lose this account now due to this.  Not to mention the dozens of hours I have put in tracking problems for a year.

Does anyone know of anything that works any better?
