Encounter slow load page on First time login to the CWI 4.6 portal

I have a similiar question with another topic which posted by scott chiara

We encounter a slow performance on the CWI 4.6 when user trying to login on the website. It takes about 1minute for user to get their application page.

We have 4 server in different region farm
Server A in Asia
Server B in Europe
Server C in Europe
Server D in Europe

The server A do not encounter any slow performance on the loading. However this happen on the server B C and D.

I do not know what had cause this to be happen. We have all same configuration in all 4 server.

I perform the testing in Asia region. Is that because of the location problem caused me encounter the slow page load on the europe server?

Or is that any configuration which i not realise should be concern in order to overcome this slow issue.

Apreciate if any of you could help me on this. Thank You.

Welcome to the forum.

Is this a new problem in your env?  Has it ever performed well launching the apps from the remote servers.?

I assume your farm has 4 zones one for each region. Are you using CSG?,  Is the Web Interface server pointing to which server/s?

Also, what ICA client and version are you using, and version of CPS and OS?

Thanks for the reply.

We just found out this new issue which cause the webpage to loading slow during first time login to the server.

In between the 4 servers , 3 servers was encounter slow issues.

We are using CPS 4.5 and CWI version 4.6 with Win2k3 OS.

All the CWI server are store locally.


do you have any idea which probably this will related to which issue?

If the WI page loads slow intermittently, this is by design. The 2nd person that logs in the page will load fast. Then after a awhile, something in the dotnet will unload and the page load will be slow for the next user.

If your WI is busy, just the fist person will experience the slow page load.
